Medellín Food Tour

10.Medellín Food Tour

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 30 reviews · 4 hours (approx.) · from $137

Spend about four hours tasting Colombian favorites with a bilingual local guide such as David, Fabio, or Fabián. You may try arepas, empanadas, bandeja paisa, buñuelos, and other regional treats while visiting Medellín, Sabaneta, and Envigado. Hotel pickup, drinks, meals, and unlimited samples are included.

“We had a memorable experience with Fabio and enjoyed the food. We learned a lot about Colombian food and culture. We took the dinner tour on a Friday night and found the drive very long, maybe it is not as bad at other times or other days. I am scratching my head about why this tour can’t be conducted in the central city, but I knew what I signed up for and it was cool to experience a different part of Medellin. Lastly, the tour was really overpriced, I am sorry to report. I throughly enjoyed it, but not a great value.”

Spend 210 minutes moving from Poblado Metro Station to Comuna 13 by metro and cable car. A local guide explains the neighborhood’s transformation, leads you through graffiti-lined streets and escalators, and introduces street food, a dance show, and a lookout-bar stop. English and Spanish tours are limited to eight people, with guides such as Ezequiel and Melina.
